On November 28, 2019, in Bamako, a closing ceremony was organised with all the actors and driving forces of the project to not only take stock of 8 years of unfailing collaboration, but also to project itself towards the future in view of the results achieved.

From 03 – 12 December 2019, AFC conducted a training on behalf of GIZ at GIZ’s International Conference and Training Centre in Feldafing, close to Munich, on the topic of ICT in Agriculture.
As a consequence of the long-standing focus on the capital-intensive mineral sector, which affords comparatively few job opportunities, Nigeria has neglected employment-intensive sectors, such as construction and agriculture.
The Agrifuture Conference Asia 2019 was opened by DLG e.V. - German Agricultural Society on 2 December in Bangkok. Different speakers, like Ms. Ebach from the German Embassy and Mr. Suwannarat, Permanent Secretary for the Ministry of Agriculture and cooperatives in Thailand, presented their views on the future development of Agriculture.
The Market Oriented Agriculture Programme (MOAP) supported the Ghana Ecological and Organic Agriculture Platform (EOAP) in the organisation of the 5th West African Organic Conference. The 5-day event was held from 12-16 November in Accra, Ghana. About 350 participants from the West African sub-region and beyond convened to discuss the latest development of the organic sector.
