A travers son initiative spéciale « Un seul monde sans faim » (SEWOH), le Ministère de la Coopération Economique et du Développement Allemand (BMZ) vise la réduction de la pauvreté et de la faim dans le monde.
Au Burkina Faso, le but du projet est : « les innovations dans les secteurs agricole et alimentaire contribuent au développement rural durable dans les zones d’intervention sélectionnées ».
In 2014, AFC in consortium with GOPA, won the GIZ contract for the project Sustainable Economic Development Programme (SEDIN) “Development of agricultural and non-agricultural value chains”. After two contract extensions, resulting in a project duration of 6 years and a total volume of 4.3 mio EUR, the project has now been officially closed.
Das Projekt hat zum Ziel, Kasachstan in der Formulierung von agrarpolitischen Plänen und Strategien mit Hilfe von Erfahrungen aus Deutschland und anderen europäischen Ländern zu unterstützen. Ein Schwerpunktthema ist dabei der ökologische Landbau. Diese Priorisierung kommt Umweltaspekten in Kasachstan zugute und soll helfen, die steigende Nachfrage in Deutschland nach Bio Rostoffen zu decken.
Climate change has undoubtedly impacted the Zambian agricultural sector negatively. For this reason, the Zambian government in cooperation with other non-governmental organisations (NGOs) and international development cooperation agencies are taking necessary measures that will help reduce the adverse effects of climate change and improve resilience among farmers.
AFC, en consortium avec Eco-Consult, vient de démarrer un nouveau projet au Mali, financé par la GIZ. Le consortium sera en charge de l’output 3 « Mise en valeur sensible aux aspects de nutrition des sites d’Aménagement Hydro-Agricoles (AHA) » jusqu’en décembre 2021.
Ginger is an important commercial crop that is gaining popularity worldwide with Nigeria having abundant potential to produce for domestic consumption and export markets. Nigerian ginger production is primarily driven by the export market with more then 90% of the annual production being exported with very little added value. Nigeria is among the major global producers and suppliers of both fresh and dried split ginger, accounting for 9.6% of total world ginger exports. It is the third largest exporter after China and India.
