The transitional development assistance measure is aimed at vulnerable farmers, agricultural associations and cooperatives, vulnerable MSMEs involved in food processing, and other value chains downstream of agriculture that can no longer sustain their production due to the crisis or do not adapt their production methods and products to the changed market conditions In Mount Lebanon.

The international long-term expert 2 (LTE2 / Organic Expert) is responsible for the implementation of the Result 2: "Focus Area Organic Farming".
The LTE supports the team leader in general project management and strategy development, guiding and accompanying the project team in the development of management tools (work plans, etc.) for planning and monitoring project activities. The expert also supports the team leader and the project assistant in monitoring the project budget and in reporting to BMEL/GFA
The main objective of the services to be implemented by the contractor is to ensure the project presence and project management in the Humla-Cluster in Nepal. Tasks include the set up a project office in Simikot and the management of relations with partner municipality officials, municipality level stakeholders and other project partners such as the regional knowledge organization ICIMOD, NGOs, universities, research organizations and organizations providing agricultural extension services intervening in the implementation of the project in the cluster.
