Innovative solutions for strengthening the sustainability of production and management systems are available to Thai agricultural businesses
Since 2009, the Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture (BMEL) has been funding the German-Kazakh Agricultural Policy Dialogue (APD) project as part of the Bilateral Cooperation Programme. The project type "agricultural policy dialogue" exchanges information on agricultural policy and agricultural sector issues, and supports the partner country in the development of legal framework conditions and the establishment of a modern and sustainable agricultural and food sector.

The African Union and the BMEL envisage an agricultural policy dialogue, from which contributions to the overarching objectives of Agenda 2063, CAADP and the Malabo Declaration are expected.
Overall objective: The EU alignment process of the Government of the Republic of Moldova in the field of agriculture and rural development is effective.
Project objective: The Moldovan Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry (MAFI) and other relevant stakeholders have made progress in aligning key agricultural regulations and administrative systems with EU requirements.
Planned results:

Planned results:
The aim of the project is to establish a platform for professional exchange in which research, private sector, civil society and politics are to participate. Exchange of experience between Germany and the member states of the African Union, combined with technical know-how from science and research, on climate-resilient seed systems, agro-ecological and climate-resilient cultivation methods, measures to reduce post-harvest losses, and the strengthening of the role of women in agricultural and food systems.
The African Union and the BMEL envisage an agricultural policy dialogue, from which contributions to the overarching objectives of Agenda 2063, CAADP and the Malabo Declaration are expected.
The German Food Bridge (GFB) has now successfully coordinated the delivery of 515 truckloads to Ukraine, equaling more than 14.500 pallets with food and other emergency aid products from Germany and neighboring EU countries to Ukraine. The initiative has been established already in the beginning of March 2022, just days after the start of the Russian war against Ukraine on 24th February 2022.
