Ukraine_ Team Leader_Institutional and Policy Reform for Smallholder Agriculture

The project, EuropeAid/140723/DH/SER/UA, will support ongoing policy and institutional reforms in Ukraine’s Agriculture and Rural Development(ARD) sector based on an approved strategic action plan and the association agreement between the EU and the government of Ukraine. The project will notably contribute to more inclusive, competitive growth-orientated agriculture that respects the environment, increases rural incomes and slows down rural-urban migration.The project will operate at central but also at decentralized government levels.

German-Thai cooperation project to promote sustainable development of cluster farms in Thailand

The on-going project aims to strengthen so-called cluster farms in terms of their economic efficiency and production methods and, based on this, to contribute to structural improvements in the agricultural sector in Thailand in the medium term. Based on analyses in selected cluster farms, medium-term development concepts or strategies for cluster farms will be designed, which will lead to an improvement in farm management, an increase in production efficiency and sustainability of farming and ultimately to positive economic effects for the farms.

Uzbeskistan_EU assistance for Uzbekistan Agri-Food Development Strategy 2020-2030

The overall objective of the sector reform performance contract of which this contract will be a part is: to contribute to the implementation of the Uzbekistan Agri-Food Development Strategy 2020-2030 and its Roadmap, which aim is to develop a competitive, market and export-oriented Uzbekistan Agri-food Sector that will increase farm incomes, create new jobs, enhance food security and ensure the sustainable use of natural resources.
