Agriculture & Finance Consultants GmbH (AFC) is a private German consulting firm focusing on agriculture/agribusiness and financial sector development projects in developing and transition countries (https://www.afci.de/). We employ almost 50 permanent staff members at our headquarters in Bonn/Germany and on average contract 50 long-term and more than 350 short-term consultants throughout the year implementing projects for various donor organizations (e.g. ADB, AFD, EBRD, EIB, EU, GIZ, KfW, World Bank).

Mit seiner Sonderinitiative 'EINEWELT ohne Hunger' (SEWOH) will das BMZ einen signifikanten Beitrag zur Verminderung von Armut und Hunger leisten. Das Globalvorhaben Grüne Innovationszentren in der Agrar- und Ernährungswirtschaft (GV GIAE) ist Teil der Sonderinitiative mit dem Modulziel: Innovationen der Agrar- und Ernährungswirtschaft haben in ausgewählten ländlichen Regionen Einkommen kleinbäuerlicher Betriebe, Beschäftigung und regionale Versorgung mit Nahrungsmitteln verbessert. Die Umsetzung erfolgt im Rahmen von Länderpaketen (LP) in 14 Ländern.

Pour la mise en œuvre du concept de la composante «Assurance risques climatiques» à Madagascar dans le cadre du projet GIZ «Adaptation des chaînes de valeur agricoles au changement climatique (PrAda)» notre cabinet AFC Agriculture and Finance Consultants GmbH (AFC) cherche un expert local malgache (qui serait contracté par l’AFC).

AFC a été contracté par la GIZ dès Juillet 2018 pour la mise en œuvre de la composante « Assurances risques climatiques ».

Ukraine_Advising Ukraine on agricultural trade issues

Project objective is to enable Ukrainian agricultural and food companies in terms of their capacities to identify European export markets, enter them, consolidate and grow in them and to prepare to open their own markets. Furthermore, the project aims at informing German companies on agricultural trade issues with Ukraine.
