Project: Agricultural Political Dialogue Kazakhstan
The objective of the project of which this contract will be a part is to found exchange on the legal and technical bases of organic farming as well as on the corresponding institutional frameworks including the development of lively association structures. The goal is to assist in the further development of the system of agricultural financing.
Tasks:
The Climate Adopted Farming Methods (CAFM) project was officially launched on October 23, 2019 as a sub project part of the Zambian–German Agricultural Knowledge and Training Centre (AKTC).
From 17-19th September the 15 country Green Innovation Centres for the Agriculture and Food Sector (GIAE) met in Malawi for a workshop on “rural attractiveness: perspectives for transformation”. AFC’s teamleaders from the Mali, Ghana, India and Nigera projects all took part.
We are delighted to announce that the Mali stand won first prize for its Stand at the GIAE Market Place.

Title of the Project: Technical Assistance to enhance Farmer Capacity in Agribusiness and Sustainability of Irrigation Schemes and Development of Feasibility Studies for potential irrigation sites, Malawi
The overall objective of the project of which this contract will be a part is to build capacity of farmer organisations in the EU developed schemes to enhance agribusiness skills and sustainability of the infrastructure whilst ensuring that environmental management plans are implemented.
The expected results are as follows:
In May 2019, the Zambian – German Agricultural Knowledge and Training Centre (AKTC) started a new project regarding the promotion of climate-adapted farming methods as a measure to reduce the impact of climate change on the agricultural sector in Zambia, shortly called the Climate Adapted Farming Methods (CAFM) project.
The project "Agri-connect: Supporting value chains for shared prosperity" will contribute to inclusive economic growth, promote private sector development and job creation in the agricultural sector and to increase food and nutrition security in Tanzania. This will be achieved in four areas:
