Le programme AFAFI-NORD a pour Objectif Général de promouvoir un secteur agricole durable, inclusif et performant dans le Nord de Madagascar. Ses objectifs spécifiques sont: (i) l’amélioration de la gouvernance du secteur agricole, (ii) l'augmentation des revenus des ménages en appuyant le développement et le renforcement de chaînes de valeur agricoles inclusives, et (iii) l’amélioration de la sécurité alimentaire et nutritionnelle des ménages ruraux.

The overall objective of the co-financed action is to strengthen the competitiveness of Nigeria and enhance the country's integration into the regional and international trading system. This is achieved through interventions and the micro and meso level that are geared towards improving the performance, growth and contribution to industry, regional trade and exports of selected value chains. In addition, the action focuses on activities supporting policy initiatives to improve the business climate for businesses at federal, state and local levels.

The aim of Afikepo Nutrition Programme in Malawi is to enhance nutrition security of the targeted groups in 10 selected districts through: increased and diversified dietary intake of safe and nutritious foods; increased use of enhanced nutrition knowledge and awareness and hygiene practices; and strengthened multi-sectoral governance of nutrition at all levels. The proposed contract will provide professional and technical services supporting the Government of Malawi to implement Afikepo Programme interventions in these districts.

The service is sought to provide direct technical support to the 5 grants beneficiaries under the HEARD project (Federal Ministry of Livestock and Fisheries (MoLF), International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI) and the Ethiopian Veterinarian Association (EVA), and to the 3 regional states (Amhara, Somali and Oromia) Bureaus of Livestock and Fisheries.

AFC is tendering for GIZ-funded project “Development of Innovative Training Programms in Resource Management” in Ethiopia. The target of this project is to improve the consulting capacities of agricultural advisors from the public and private sectors. They will be trained in rehabilitation and economic development in selected areas. The main activities to be carried during the 25 months of project duration out are:
