Ziel des Projekts AGRITRADE ist es, die ukrainischen Agrar- und Lebensmittelunternehmen in die Lage zu versetzen, europäische Exportmärkte zu identifizieren, in diese einzutreten, sich dort zu konsolidieren und zu wachsen und sich auf die Öffnung ihrer eigenen Märkte vorzubereiten.

Darüber hinaus beabsichtigt das Projekt, deutsche Unternehmen über Fragen des Agrarhandels mit der Ukraine zu informieren.

Oschadbank: Internal capacity building for MSME lending

Public Joint-Stock Company “State Savings Bank of Ukraine” (Oschadbank or OB) is the leading Ukrainian bank with the largest network of branch offices consisting of more than 3,000 opera-tional offices in 23 regional administrations. The cooperation between the EBRD and OB started in 2016 to support the implementation of the “Reform of state-owned banks (SOB) strategy”, both through direct cooperation under various financing programs and through a comprehensive technical support package.

German-Ukrainian Agricultural Policy Dialogue

The project serves as a dialogue platform for actors of the Ukrainian agricultural and political sectors and as a facilitator between private enterprises of the agri-food sector.

Overall objective: Support Ukrainian political decision-makers in reforming agricultural legislation and policy by taking into account international experiences of Germany and multilateral organisations (such as EU and WTO) as well as respecting the principles of a market economy.

Ukraine_Team Leader – Technical Assistance for a Leasing Company to build the Agricultural SME Leasing Market in Ukraine

Under the German Financial Cooperation with Ukraine KfW made available funds for the Agriculture Financing programme in Ukraine. The objective of the Agriculture Financing programme is to the modernisation and productivity increase of agricultural SME in the Ukraine.

Ukraine_Expert in Agricultural Finance

Agriculture & Finance Consultants GmbH (AFC) is a private German consulting firm focusing on agriculture/agribusiness and financial sector development projects in developing and transition countries. We employ 48 permanent staff members at our headquarters in Bonn/Germany and on average contract 50 long-term and more than 450 short-term consultants throughout the year implementing projects for various donor organizations  (e.g. EIB, KfW, GIZ, World Bank, AFD, EBRD).

Advising Ukraine on agricultural trade issues - within the framework of the deep and comprehensive free trade agreement DCFTA between the EU and Ukraine; short title: Agritrade (2nd project phase)

The project objective is to strengthen public and private structures in the Ukrainian agriculture and food sector for the further sustainable development of trade in the framework of the DCFTA.

Ukraine_Advising Ukraine on agricultural trade issues

Project objective is to enable Ukrainian agricultural and food companies in terms of their capacities to identify European export markets, enter them, consolidate and grow in them and to prepare to open their own markets. Furthermore, the project aims at informing German companies on agricultural trade issues with Ukraine.
