German – Ukrainian Agricultural Policy Dialogue (APD)

The aim of the project is to further develop the Ukrainian agricultural policy sector. In the light of the international, in particular also German experience and the EU Free Trade Association Agreement, the Ukrainian agricultural policy can enhance its contribution for the development of the sector and the rural areas.

The project aims at achieving the following results:

  1. The Ukrainian institutions of the agricultural sector are being advised with regard to an improvement of the judicial and regulatory framework for the development of the sector and the rural areas.
  2. The relevant actors receive latest information, analyses and in-depth knowledge in order to make agricultural policy decisions.
  3. The network of relationships between the Ukrainian and German actors is strengthened and permanently integrated.
  4. The project cooperates with other German – Ukrainian projects supported by the BMEL.
