Agribusiness promotion plays a critical role in fostering sustainable economic development, enhancing food security, and reducing poverty. It helps to empower MSMEs, processors, input providers, and traders by supporting business development and marketing.
At GOPA AFC, we understand the importance of agribusiness promotion and strive to provide comprehensive services to enable businesses to thrive. Tailored strategies, practical solutions, and continuous support help MSMEs navigate complex agricultural value chains and maximize potential. Embracing a holistic approach, every stage of the value chain is considered while developing strategies that enhance business performance and competitiveness. We offer support in various areas, including product development, process optimization, market access, and marketing strategy.
Our proficiency in agribusiness promotion is evident through our extensive portfolio of successful projects. One of our projects related with AgriBusiness is the "Sustainable Employment through Agri-business (AgriBiz): Promotion of MSMEs in the agribusiness sector and implementation of the EU component Ghana Agriculture Programme (GAP)". This project, started in April 2021, is a collaboration with esteemed partners including the German Corporation for International Cooperation (GIZ) and the European Union (EU). With Ghana as the primary country of operation, this initiative was a major stride in our mission of promoting agribusiness within the area of MSMEs.
Our marketing strategy advice offers customized solutions for agribusiness marketing, catering to consumer preferences in highly saturated markets. After developing a product that aligns with consumer expectations, we assist in optimizing processes such as transport, storage, and production. We also support emerging economies in participating in international economic agreements, providing services in trade promotion and finance. This includes the provision of market infrastructure support and transitional assistance to enhance their international trade capabilities.
Additionally, we are implementing a GIZ project in Senegal, Ghana and Côte d’Ivoire with the Invest for Jobs Intiative since Decembre 2023. The project “Access to African markets for high-potential SMEs in Côte d'Ivoire, Senegal and Ghana” showcases our commitment to promoting agribusiness, our capacity to deliver effective solutions, and our depth of understanding of the agricultural value chains.
Leveraging our extensive global experience with Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises in the agribusiness sector, coupled with our strategic affiliation with the GOPA Consulting Group, we are uniquely positioned to provide a comprehensive suite of services in this domain. This blend of hands-on expertise and strategic alliances empowers us to deliver highly professional, customized, and effective solutions that cater to the diverse needs of the agribusiness industry.
