AFC’s project COA cooperates with other international projects in the organic sector in Ukraine

The COA project, funded by the German Federal Ministry for Food and Agriculture (BMEL), contributes to the efficient and sustainable development of agriculture in Ukraine through its focus on the promotion of organic production. It focuses on improving competencies and institutional structures for the advanced development of organic agriculture. AFC is implementing it together with IAK since 2016.

COA collaborates with the project Quality Food Trade Programm (#QFTP) in order to optimize and streamline the projects’ activities. This cooperation currently refers to the activities for setting up registers for operators, seed and accredited certification bodies.

The infographics are based on the organic market survey held by the Organic Standard (Ukraine) in partnership with OrganicInfo.ua (Ukraine) with the support of Switzerland within the framework of the Swiss-Ukrainian Program “Higher Value Added Trade from the Organic and Dairy Sector in Ukraine” implemented by the Research Institute of Organic Agriculture (FiBL, Switzerland) in partnership with SAFOSO AG (Switzerland).
