This project is financed by an ODA Loan from Japan International Cooperative Agency (JICA) and aims at providing credit and advisory support to smallholder farmers through Microfinance Institutions. Consultancy services will be provided for a duration of 60 months by the consortium led by AFC with Akademie Deutscher Genossenschaften (ADG) and Services and Solutions International Ltd. (SSIL) as partners.

The project team will be based within the Bangladesh Bank premises in Dhaka to ensure efficient and effective project management, monitoring and knowledge enhancement of BB as well as of participating Microfinance Institutions in administering agricultural credit and providing technical assistance to small and marginal sized farmers.
