AFC will host the "FAK ReKomEnt"

On 26.06.2012 AFC will host the Working Group "Regional and Community Development - FAK RekomEnt" with representatives of GIZ, KfW and the consulting industry. The event will be moderated by Dr. Ute Jacob, AFC Senior Consultant and Head of the Africa Department. The topic of the day is „Adaption to Climate Change”. Johannes Geisen, AFC Senior Consultant, will present a Study on the current state of ecological and socio-economic impact of the export of renewable raw materials from developing countries for non-energetic use in Germany, which AFC conducted on behalf of KfW in 2010/2011. Agnieszka Windel, AFC associated consultant, will speak about Rural Finance - Adaptation to Climate Change. Additional presentations are planned on „Climate Proofing“, “Ecosystem services” and “Economics of Land Degradation”.
