The Kenya Women Microfinance Bank Limited has been registered in 2008 as a subsidiary of Kenya Women Holding. The Norwegian Microfinance Initiative (NMI) financed technical assistance in order to support KWFT in successfully achieving its growth objective.
The assignment included the development and delivery of tailor-made training and coaching services on different staff levels at KWFT. In total, more than 450 staff members and managers participated in training sessions focusing on enhancing customer service orientation on the one hand and leadership & communication competencies on the other.
Besides training/coaching development and execution, the consortium build internal training capacities at KWFT accordingly. This ensures the sustainability of the technical assistance by enabling KWFT to continue providing training on its own after the project ceased.
