The objective of ISRA is to help ensure reliable supply water over the long-term required supporting the transition into higher value, water-intensive agricultural production and can contribute to enhance food security, improve food security for grains and cereal production. At the end the Compact, it is anticipated that the project have developed a model which can be replicated and enabling environment for further rehabilitation and investment in state-owned and other irrigation systems
Qualifications:
Project Team Leader will provide strategic direction and overall management of the PIM Consultant contract with the overall responsibility of ensuring that ISRA and CISRA activities, consultants and contractors are coordinating and activities are sequenced appropriately. The Project should be based in Chisniau for the full duration of the respective contract and should have experience and qualification in management of infrastructure development project of similar size and scope.
Key Qualifications:
A master or a university degree in business administration or a related field
At least 15 years experience in managing infrastructure development projects of similar size and scope
Demonstrated project management skills and experience in the management of field teams in the context of donor-funded development projects
Demonstrated skills in project management consisting of multiple activities and multiple contractors implemented simultaneously
Extensive experience and demonstrated skills in planning, procurement, monitoring and reporting in multiple project environment
Prior experience in the NIS and / or Eastern Europe countries
Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and
Knowledge of Romanian or Russian language is a plus
