FrançaisThe overall objective of this contract is to support Moldova in the strengthening of the country’s rural small andmedium-sized enterprises (SMEs) policy. The specific objective of this contract will be to reduce economic andsocial disparities in rural areas through the introduction of active employment initiatives and the development ofmicro, small and medium-sized enterprises.
Qualifications:
- Education to at least University Degree or equivalent in a field relevant to the Specific Activity for which they will be responsible, e.g. Horticulture, Agricultural Economy, with preference given to candidates with postgraduate study diploma;
- Fluency in written and spoken English is essential; knowledge of Romanian and/or Russian would be a distinct advantage;
- Computer literacy;
- The Team Leader should have an in depth knowledge of the sector and as evidenced by at least 10 years of relevant professional experience;
- Professional experience as team leader in project / programme management;
- Professional experience in developing and/or implementing agriculture / horticulture value chain development plans and/or programmes.
