The French Development Agency (AFD) has developed a green finance product called SUNREF (Sustainable Use of Natural Resources and Energy Finance) whose objective is to mobilize the financial sector of partner countries for renewable energy (RE) and energy efficiency (EE) investments as well as investments increasing overall environmental performance (reduction of pollutant emissions, environmental compliance, recycling).
L'objectif principal du Projet est d’opérationnaliser la Loi 034-2009 et de l’articuler avec les dynamiques de développement économique communal durable à travers le renforcement technique et financier des acteurs locaux impliqués.
Trois objectifs spécifiques sont visés :

The Ministry of Agriculture and Irrigation (MOAI) from the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, represented by the Water Resources Utilization Department (WRUD), has received financing from the French Development Agency (AFD), and intends to apply part of the proceeds for the following services: recruitment of the project Technical Operator.
