Agriculture Modernization, Market Access and Resilience (AMMAR)

The Agriculture Modernization, Market Access and Resilience (AMMAR) project of the Government of Georgia, with IFAD funding, aims to raise incomes of smallholder farmers and increase climate resilience through public and private investments in upgrading climate-proof productive infrastructure, enterprises and smallholder farmer production systems and technologies in support of inclusive growth of climate smart agricultural value chains.

Tasks of this projects are: 

  • Training/guidance on overall project approach and concepts related to VC development;

Agrilending Expert

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD or the Bank) wishes to engage a consultant for the implementation of the technical co-operation (TC) programme developed to support the lending programme Georgian Agricultural Finance Framework (GAFF), a joint initiative with KfW, established to contribute to the development of sustainable agri-lending in Partner Institutions (PIs) and the strengthening of agricultural value chains. This will include design of robust credit products tailored to agricultural seasonal finance as well as a general upgrading of skills across the sector.
