FrançaisThe purpose of the contract is to improve competitiveness of the cotton ginners in Şanlıurfa and Diyarbakır. The contract has 2 components:
1) strengthening the business networks which is comprised of the following subcomponents:
- establishment of the GAP cotton fibre marketing portal,
- improvement of marketing and networking skills of cotton ginners,
- organisation of business brokerage events;
2) operationalisation of the common use quality and standardisation infrastructure which is comprised of the following subcomponents:
- operationalisation of the common use quality and standardisation infrastructure,
- improvement of the institutional capabilities of cotton ginners.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management and Engineering ore related field
- Excellent command of English (speaking, reading and writing);
- Full computer literacy;
- Turkish will be an asset
- Minimum 10 years of general professional experience;
- Minimum of 3 years of specific professional experience in SME, enterprise or private sector development;
- Management experience in an organisation, institution or company in textile sector will be an asset.
