FrançaisThe project aims to contribute to the improvement of food safety in Ukraine "from farm to fork" by aligning Ukrainian legislation, institutional infrastructure, and system of State controls with the regulatory and administrative policies and practices of the EU.
Qualifications:
Qualifications and skills
- Degree in veterinary science, veterinary medicine or similar;
- Postgraduate qualification in quality assurance and/or food safety management and/or auditing will be an asset, e.g. IS022000, IS09000, HACCP;
- Trained trainer / presentation skills;
- Experience of co-operation at highest levels of government;
- Fluency in written and spoken English;
- Working knowledge of Ukrainian and/or Russian language would be an asset.
General professional experience
- At least 15 years of general professional experience.
Specific professional experience
- At least 7 years of professional experience in a high-level position within the field of veterinary public health and/or public health in the state service of a current EU Member State;
- At least 5 years of professional experience in the preparation of policy advice and practical implementation in the fields of food safety or veterinary public health or animal health or animal welfare;
- Experience working in a similar project or projects in a candidate country and/or a potential candidate country and/or a country that is now part of the European Neighbourhood or Eastern Partnership will be an advantage.
