Rural Finance in Kyrgyz Republic

The objective of the Programme is to improve access to financial services provided by private sustainable financial institutions to micro, small and mediumsized enterprises (MSME) as well as cooperatives mainly in rural areas and outside of Bishkek.

The overarching developmental goal is to contribute to the creation and stabilization of employment and income through deepening and broadening of the Kyrgyz rural financial sector.

Qualifications: 
  • Vast experience as team leader in implementing/management of Financial Cooperation (FC) micro (finance) institutions M(FI) projects, in particular rural and agricultural microfinance projects
  • Experience in the management of disposition funds and revolving funds;
  • Proficiency in Russian language is a must.

   

Start / Duration: 

The duration of deployment is around 2,5 years, with intermittent visits to Kyrgyzstan at a later stage of the Programme.

The consulting services shall be performed over a period of approximately 60 months beginning in the third quarter of 2013.
