AFC generates a turnover of 33 Mio. per year and employs 60 permanent staff members in our headquarters in Germany to manage around 800 professionals in 87 AFC offices abroad.

Recruiter and coordinator of our recruiting team (m/f/d)
As a Recruiter, you will be responsible for the recruitment of experts in our development cooperation projects and you will join a global team working from offices or from home across the World.

As Recruiter you are the first point of contact for the people who are most important for the success of our international projects: our experts on site. You manage and supervise the whole recruitment cycle holistically and build long-lasting relationships with our project staff, expanding our network of experts.
Recruiter (m/f/d) to start as soon as possible in AFC office in Bonn (near Cologne) or working remotely worldwide after the onboarding phase.
Your responsibilities / tasks:
- You always see the bigger picture and develop strategies to identify, recruit and retain experts at an early stage, using different sourcing channels
- You identify and actively approach the best and winning experts (in coordination with the Project Manager), using different sourcing channels and applying your social media skills
- You have expertise in various candidate sourcing strategies (e.g. advertising and database searching, web sourcing, networking)
- You formulate, place and have creative dissemination of job advertisements
- You conduct interviews (initial contacts: suitability, availability, fee) and review the application documents (working certificates, motivation letter, etc.)
- Your cooperate with our experts and compile all necessary documentation, from experts CV to work certificates, demonstrating your linguistic and analytical skills
- You build trust and maintain contact with potential experts, building up a network
- Supporting the updating of the GOPA Group database (uploading new CVs and documents, creating new experts, keywording, etc.)
- Represent the company at job fairs to target future employees or experts
- You coordinate our recruiting team and organize the recruiting process with die directors of our different departments
Your profile / Qualifications:
- You like to work and interact with people in different teams in an international environment
- You have a good feeling for the applicant market and can put yourself in the shoes of our target groups
- You have an academic degree in social or business sciences (with focus on Human Resources) or other relevant studies or equivalent vocational education
- You have work experience in recruiting business in an international environment or project management of TA-programs
- You have excellent oral and written communication skills in English and at least one other language (French, German) is an asset
- You know the current trends in recruiting and are already looking forward to supporting us with your ideas and experience in the further development of innovative recruiting
- You are familiar with online and social media recruiting and proactive candidate search
- You have experience in personnel selection and in analyzing CVs
- You have affinity with IT systems
