Support to Agriculture Sector in Nigeria

AFC Consultants International (www.afci.de) ist als Teil der GOPA Gruppe auf die Bereiche Agriculture, Agribusiness, Financial Sector Development spezialisiert. In der GOPA Gruppe sind führende private deutsche Unternehmen im Bereich der Entwicklungszusammenarbeit. Die AFC implementiert derzeit weltweit ca. 60 Projekte mit einem Umsatz von über 14 Mio. € jährlich.

Für eine spannende Position in unserem Projektbüro in Abuja / Nigeria suchen wir einen Koordinator (w/m) für die folgenden Aufgaben: 

  • Project coordination and planning at project head office in Nigeria (duration: 1 year, beginning at May 2016)

  • Assisting the Team Leader and AFC key staff in the project region

  • Monitoring and quality checks with frequent Travel to project areas of training activities

  • Set up & Monitoring of budget control and monitoring for the implementataion of trainings

  • Supporting short-term experts

  • Writing of reports and presentations

Qualifications: 
  • University Degree (Master) in a relevant area (Agriculture, Agriculture Engineering, Agriculture economics economics or related fields)
  • Experience in the context of development cooperation, preferably in the agriculture sector
  • Working experience in developing countries, in particular in Africa
  • Full proficiency in written and spoken English and German, 
  • Strong writing and communications skills, ability to act pragmatically
