Credit Line for Energy Efficient Housing

The Promotional Programme for Energy Efficient New Residential Housing (the “Programme”) intends to transfer successful elements of the decade-long experience of promoting energy efficient residential buildings in Germany to India. The purpose of the Programme is the implementation of a Pilot Promotional Programme for new energy efficient residential buildings. This is to contribute to the emission reduction of greenhouse gases, especially CO2, and thus, towards climate change mitigation and to a sustainable economic development through broad-based, technically and economically efficient, socially and ecologically sustainable energy supply and use. The TA shall support NHB in its efforts to consolidate its leading role in promoting energy efficiency through the housing finance sector in India. The Team Leader will among other: Co-ordinate the project’s management and implementation Manage and supervise the project Ensure the project outputs and outcomes Ensure proper reporting in the required form and with the required content Serve as the one-stop interface for the management of both NHB and KfW Advise the top management of NHB as required
